Acceptable Use Policy
This Policy outlines the rules that apply to your use of our hosted email platform and associated services. We reserve the right to make changes to this Policy, and we will notify you of any significant changes by publishing them through our Services or by other means. You will have the opportunity to review the changes before continuing to use our Services. By continuing to use our Services after we have provided notice of changes to this Policy, you indicate your agreement to the updated terms.
Rules for Email use
To ensure that you are using our Services appropriately, you must follow these general email rules:
- Our platform offers two distinct products: one for transactional emails with API integration and another for email marketing with campaigns. Please note that sending bulk marketing or promotional emails should be done exclusively through our email marketing product. Our transactional email platform with API integration is intended solely for transactional emails.
- All recipients that you email using the Services must have explicitly given you their consent to receive emails from you.
- You are not allowed to send unsolicited email, except for Transactional Messages, unless the recipients have given you their valid consent.
- You may not use purchased, rented, or third-party email lists of any kind.
- Your header information, including your "From," "To," "Reply-To," and routing information, must be accurate and identify you.
- You may not use deceptive subject lines or redirect links to sites that are not relevant to the content of your email.
- Your email must include a clear and prominent unsubscribe link.
- You must promptly honor unsubscribe requests (within 10 business days of receiving the request) and be able to process opt-out requests for at least 60 days after your email is sent.
- If you send advertisements, you must clearly and conspicuously identify your email as such.
Prohibited Content
The following types of information or content are strictly prohibited from being sent through our Services:
- Defamatory or libelous information or content
- Pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult-oriented information or content
- Vulgar, obscene, profane, offensive, abusive, or threatening information or content
- False, misleading, inaccurate, or deceptive information or content
- Discriminatory, racist, or violence-promoting information or content
- Information or content that infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property or other proprietary rights of any third party
- Viruses or programming routines intended to damage, intercept, or expropriate any system, data, or information
- Hacking, software piracy, spyware, surveillance, interception, descrambling equipment, phreaking, emulators, or illegal file sharing activity
- Information or content that is contrary to any applicable laws or regulations.
Prohibited Products & Services
You agree that you will not use the Services to send an email that contains, offers, promotes, references or links to any of the following products, services or content:
The following items or services are prohibited and not allowed to be advertised on our platform:
- Hazardous materials or hazardous substances
- Pharmaceuticals
- Instant weight loss schemes
- Work from home, make money online, and internet lead generation opportunities
- Casino or online gambling
- Foreign exchange programs and software (FOREX)
- Stock trading software
- "Get rich quick" schemes
- Loan, credit card, or banking services
- Predatory publishing
- Data selling services such as email lists, phone numbers, etc.
- Multi-level marketing or affiliate marketing
- Weaponry, firearms, ammunition, fireworks, or explosives.
- Online trading
- Streaming TV
- Herbal highs or Herbal incense
- Essay writing services
- Bulk RFQ (request for quote) emails
- Designer goods (without prior approval)
- Fake phishing emails for a ‘Training Exercise’ or Penetration Testing.
The suspension or termination of an account
If we have reason to believe that you are using your account in a manner that violates this Acceptable Use Policy or harms our Services, we may take action to limit or terminate your account. The following are examples of situations in which we may take action:
- We have received numerous complaints about an email sent from your account, which we track when recipients mark your email as spam or junk.
- Your account has sent a large volume of emails to invalid addresses.
- Our internal spam prevention measures have identified emails sent from your account as violating this Acceptable Use Policy.
